Lancashire Breast Screening Invitations

The South Lancashire Breast Screening service will shortly be inviting eligible ladies aged between 50-70 years old who are registered with our practice to attend for breast screening. 

​Why attend for your breast screening?​

  • 1 in 7 Women will develop breast cancer​
  • Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK​
  • Current evidence suggests that breast screening reduces the number of breast cancer deaths in the UK by about 1,300 a year

If your appointment time is inconvenient please contact the breast screening team as soon as possible to re-arrange.
