If you call us between 18:30-20:30 weekdays, 09:00-17:00 on Saturdays and 09:00-12:00 on Sundays your call will automatically forward to our 'Increased Access' out of hours service where you can book 'on-the-day' GP and Practice Nurse appointments at one of our other network sites in Preston. This website contains all information regarding University of Lancashire Medical Centre which is run for students and staff of the university.

Summer 2026 Opening

The University of Lancashire Medical Centre will be open 08:00-18:00 on Monday, Wednesday & Friday only between 13/07/2026 and 13/09/2026. On Tuesday’s & Thursday’s during this period, students will still be able to access medical advice by submitting an online form, telephone advice, electronic prescriptions to your local pharmacy and, if required, face-to-face appointments via our Penwortham site.
