Posted on November 13th, 2024

Some of our patients may have seen the new Stop Smoking drug, Verenicline in the news recently. This is an exciting development in the area of smoking cessation and the overall numbers of smokers is on a steadily declining path.

Any patients wishing to to get Verenicline on prescription will need to be under the Smoke-free Lancashire Stop Smoking Service. The good news is that it’s free to do this and you don’t need a GP appointment.
